Salem County has a variety of fresh produce available that is sold at local farms, community farmers' markets, roadside farm markets, u-pick farms and organic farms offering corn, strawberries, apples, peaches, tomatoes, bedding plants and other local fruit and produce in season.

Stopping by one of the many Roadside Farm Markets to pick up some farm fresh vegetables for supper is one of the most enjoyable aspects of living in or driving through Salem County.

The Salem Farmers' Market runs on Saturdays from early June through August in Salem City, NJ. Offering a variety of fruits & vegetables, baked good and food vendors, this is a terrific place to stop for lunch and to pick up some fresh vegetables for dinner. Click here for more information. 

The famous Cowtown Rodeo & Flea Market is open year-round on Tuesdays and Saturdays and offers a variety of fruits & vegetables and food vendors. The rodeo is open weekly on Saturday nights from late May through September. Click here for more information.
